Most recently, Cohen opened and managed the New York office for Strauss Radio Strategies. There he obtained and developed a variety of clients from corporate clients such as Nike and IBM; to non-profits such as the American Lung Association & Save the Children; as well as campaigns for all of the major public relations firms including Burson-Marsteller, GCI Group, Ketchum, Hill & Knowlton, and Ogilvy Public Relations among many others. In addition to developing clients and creating strategic radio outreach strategies, Cohen also identified opportunities and managed the company’s own marketing campaigns.
Jason obtained both his MBA at The George Washington University. There he studied International Business and Marketing. While working on his MBA, Cohen was a graduate assistant and General Manager of WRGW/GWRadio.com. While at the GW radio station, Jason led a quarter-million dollar project to build a new radio station, grew student involvement from a small handful of students to nearly 200, and managed the stations daily business. Upon graduation, at commencement, Cohen was recognized for his efforts to revitalize GW’s radio station with one of the university’s most prestigious honors, the GW Award.
Previously, Cohen worked at Artesia Technologies, a digital asset management firm as a marketing analyst focused on the media and entertainment segments. His other experiences include various production and producing roles with Cablevision’s Rainbow Media and News 12 divisions, as well as with Court TV.
Additionally, Cohen holds a B.A. from GWU in American Studies & Electronic Media. Jason is a native New Yorker who enjoys traveling, listening to a wide variety of music, sports (including the New York Mets), current events, and studying the media. |

Brett Kaplan joins CityCast Media with a wide variety of experiences in media from Westwood One Radio to Major League Baseball. Throughout his career Kaplan has tapped into new technologies and sought creative partnerships that create unique media content.
Most recently, Kaplan has spent time at Major League Baseball where he helped produce the leagues digital media content during the regular and post-seasons. Additionally, while at MLB Kaplan was involved in developing a digital documentary recapping the historic 2005 ALCS match-up between the Chicago White Sox and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Additionally, Kaplan has developed unique television content during his tenure with ArmChair Productions, including The Tailgate Show, which Kaplan directed weekly for Comcast in Philadelphia.
Kaplan earned both a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Media Policy, as well as a B.A. in Electronic Media and Political Science at The George Washington University. During his time at GW, Kaplan managed WRGW/GWRadio.com and executed a shift towards the expansion into new media technology. With a redesigned focus, WRGW became a pioneer in quality Internet radio, an emerging web presence, blogging and digital archiving. The refocus led to an 800% increase in web hits and attracted numerous corporate partnerships. Additionally, Kaplan negotiated and executed partnerships with Apple’s iTunes, XM Satellite Radio, Westwood One, Prophet Systems, the Washington Redskins, and the Bowie Baysox (Double “A” minor league baseball affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles).
Outside of work, Kaplan is always playing or watching all kinds of sports, defending the Yankees, grilling a steak or relaxing with friends.

Jamie Bass joins CityCast Media from Press Communications. Most recently, while with Press, Jamie worked as a Senior Account Executive for the organization’s WHTG-FM and WWZY-FM. There she worked with a variety of clients to develop and implement radio-marketing solutions. In addition to coordinating on-air campaigns, Ms. Bass also created and managed various promotions for clients such as Coors Light, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and a number of local and national retailers.

Before joining Press, Jamie worked for The Phoenix Media & Communications Group in Providence, Rhode Island as an Account Executive for WFNX-FM. Additionally, Jamie has previously been a member of the marketing team at the prestigious Newport Yachting Club.
Bass earned a B.A. in Journalism with minor in History at the University of Rhode Island where she graduated cum lade in 2001.
Outside of work, Bass enjoys spending time with her friends and family, running, traveling and shopping
