CityCast President, Founder, and Lead ProducerJason Cohen is a media and public relations veteran, and has had a passion for media (both old and new!) since the age of sixteen.
Over the past nine years, Cohen has grown CityCast into a full-service media consultancy and production house offering clients a continually growing array of options for building what CityCast is known for: professionally produced content that tells our client's stories leveraging new rich media options, as well as traditional media tools.
Prior to founding CityCast, Jason managed the New York office of Strauss Radio Strategies, and created marketing campaigns for Nike, IBM, the American Lung Association, and Save the Children, among others. While with Strauss, Cohen also developed campaigns for some of the premiere public relations firms including Burson-Marsteller, GCI Group, Ketchum, Hill & Knowlton, and Ogilvy Public Relations.
Jason's professional experience also includes work as a Marketing Analyst at Artesia Technologies (a digital asset management firm), production and producing roles with Cablevision's Rainbow Media and News 12 divisions, as well as work with Court TV.
Cohen earned both his BA (in American Studies and Electronic Media) and his MBA (in International Business and Marketing) from The George Washington University. While in school, Jason was General Manager of WRGW/GWRadio.com and led a quarter-million dollar project that built a brand new radio station for the university, winning the prestigious GW Award in recognition of his work.
This native New Yorker enjoys traveling, sports (he's a die hard Mets fan), and exploring developments in media (really!), movies and music.
Jamie Bass brings a wide variety of media experience to her work with clients, incorporating her strong background in radio with her expertise working with national clients and corporations developing comprehensive marketing strategies.
Prior to joining CityCast, Bass worked as a Senior Account Executive for Press Communication's WHTG-FM and WWZY-FM, creating on-air and other radio marketing solutions for Coors, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and a number of local and national retailers.
Before her work at Press, Jamie worked as an Account Executive for The Phoenix Media & Communications Group (WFNX-FM) in Providence, RI, and as a Marketing Specialist for the renowned Newport Yacht Club.
Bass earned her BA in Journalism, with a minor in History, at the University of Rhode Island, graduating cum laude.
While working with clients is interesting and often invigorating, Jamie also enjoys running, traveling, and time with friends and family.
Bentley Ross is the newest (and youngest) member of the CityCast Team … being 2 feet tall gives him a fresh, new perspective.
Mostly, Bentley does a great job of being cute and helping us stayed organized with our files (if we aren't, he runs around the office with our paperwork in his mouth).
On occasion, he finds a bill he doesn't want us to pay and, well, chews it up (we usually override his protest and pay it anyway!).
Bentley totally supports our 360° philosophy of marketing, and demonstrates this with his own efforts to chase his tail.
Bentley's commitment to new media has been temporarily redirected because of his decision to eat, rather than listen to, his Doggy iPod.
Mr Ross was home schooled by David Muriello of Biscuits & Bath in New York City. His specialties are the aforementioned tail-chasing and chewing, as well as retrieving, sitting, and barking.
